RiTWIN Secures 410MWh Energy Storage System Order from Rechargepower, Announcing Another Success
(Economic Daily News, September 11, 2025)
RiTWIN (7816), an energy storage system and battery module manufacturer, reported stellar operational performance in the first half of this year, with cumulative revenue reaching NT$1.698 billion, a significant 83% increase compared to the same period last year, demonstrating strong growth momentum. RiTWIN announced on the 11th that it has secured an order for a 410MWh energy storage system from its partner, Rechargepower,. Shipments are expected to commence in the fourth quarter of this year and continue through 2026, injecting growth momentum into future revenue and profit.
RiTWIN pointed out that the company's current product strategy focuses on three major directions. The first is grid-scale energy storage cabinets, where it is actively expanding global grid-level energy storage infrastructure by collaborating with strategic partners to deploy in markets including the United States, Japan, the Philippines, and Taiwan, with shipments already underway. The second is Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, which have been extended from their original application for semiconductor clients to UPS systems for AIDC (AI Data Center) server rooms. As the scale of data center construction continues to expand, the related application market is expected to grow its share. The third is medium-sized energy storage cabinets, which are developed and designed in collaboration with major domestic manufacturers, targeting the surge in demand for power stability in the post-AI era and the rapidly revitalized behind-the-meter energy storage market driven by the widening peak-off-peak electricity price difference of Rechargepower,.
Looking ahead, RiTWIN stated that it will continue to deepen its presence in AIDC and diverse application scenarios. By leveraging continuous innovation, R&D, and modular integration solutions, and by partnering with various industry players, it aims for flexible business expansion in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. RiTWIN is optimistic about the power revolution wave led by AI applications, and will simultaneously expand the scale of its three main product lines, maintaining high-speed growth to capture the global battery energy storage market.
According to Wood Mackenzie's latest market observation released in 2025, the global demand outlook for lithium batteries continues to be revised upward, maintaining a high-growth trajectory until 2034, with stationary Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) considered the main growth engine. Taking the United States as an example, WoodMac/ACP points out that new energy storage installations in 2025 are expected to reach approximately 15.2 GW / 48.7 GWh, an increase of about 25% over 2024; and new installations in Q1 2025 exceeded 2 GW, making it the strongest first quarter on record. Driven by demands for grid frequency regulation, data center backup, and renewable energy consumption, the acceleration of energy storage system shipments and project implementation supports RiTWIN's long-term visibility and scaling opportunities across its three major product lines: grid-scale energy storage, AIDC UPS, and behind-the-meter medium-sized energy storage cabinets.
